Clare Vale Ready For 2010
After a successful 2009 season Clare Vale is looking forward to
reaching further milestones in 2010. 2009 saw Clare break a few a
few boundaries; she became the first lady racer to lead a WesBank V8
Supercar race as well as becoming the first lady driver to lead off
the grid in pole position. Bad luck hampered her season’s progress,
however Clare went to the final round of the championship in tenth
position. An unfortunate series of punctures led to a disappointing
final race and left her just outside the top ten.
2010 marks Clare's 3rd full season in the premier WesBank V8
Supercar series. She will be looking to add to her two trophy
finishes and push for her first win in the series. After the
progress she made last year that first win looks just around the
corner. Clare will also be aiming to collect as many championship
points as possible.
Clare will also be racing a Porsche 917 replica in Historics in
2010.
Clare will be continuing her role as a panel member on the Women in
Motorsport (WIM) panel: her Road Safety Ambassador role with The
Road Safety Foundation and her support of the Anne van Dyk Cheetah
Sanctuary.
Clare’s racing would not be possible without the support of her
sponsors:
Gatorback RAM, MAN Top Used, Auto Glym and Compendium Insurance
Brokers. |
