FRANCO DI MATTEO a.k.a. Italian Stallion.   

 

Runs his own successful company, PF Hydraulics, which  supplies hydraulics material for gold mine support, has been in business for 19years.

 

Is married, to Anna Marie and has a son Marko, who is currently the SA and World Champion  in JKA Karate

 

Franco Has been involved in motor racing since 1984, when he competed in regional saloon car racing, and was always competitive, and a top three finisher.

He changed to WesBank V8 racing in 1996, and competed in Class B and GT2 class, is known as being a very competitive competitor, and never gives up. Is very active member of SAMCAR and being a seasoned competitor is able to assist with technical advice, and has assisted with the racing shock program. Franco has been a regular competitor of the WesBank V8 Supercars Championship.

 

Franco is sponsored by DELCO BATTERIES for the past two years and Derrick Machining for past 4 years, and is always mindful of their needs and certainly gives them a return on their investment in him and his team. (Mechanical Director of the team is Neil Dunerfiss).
