Message from the Kyalami Marshals Association
"I just want to thank all the Wesbank V8 competitors for the weekend’s excellent racing the past weekend. There is nothing that even comes close to the roaring V8’s in motorsport. Once again we, as the Kyalami Marshals Association, want to apologize for the incident regarding Deon Auby that happened in Parc Ferme after Heat 2 when there was a serious accident in Turn 1 and the Mobile vehicle had to get to the scene as fast as possible with lifesaving equipment (Jaws of Life) just in case it was needed. Kyalami Marshals are all volunteers and motorsport fanatics. I can assure you your safety as well as the least amount of damage recovering your vehicles is of the utmost importance to us. As you might have noticed your class where the only class allowed after Heat 1 to go all around and straight into Pits and not of at Turn 1 like all the other classes. "
