Veyance Technologies Africa,
manufacturers and distributors of Goodyear RAM belts and
hoses and air springs as well as Gatorback belts in South
Africa, have announced their sponsorship for Clare Vale, the
first female driver in the Wesbank V8 Supercar Championship.
“Goodyear RAM products have always been
synonymous with high quality and exceptional performance,”
says Colin Preddy, GM Automotive Division of Veyance
Technologies. “We believe that our partnership with Clare
Vale will emphasise our total commitment to high performance
service and products for the automotive industry.”
Clare has done exceptionally well in her
first season with the Ford Mustang V8 Supercar, culminating
in a strong 6th place overall at the last race at
Phakisa in Welkom. With support from Goodyear RAM, she is
determined to continue her rapid progression in the series.
“Our team is a perfect fit with Goodyear
RAM,” she says. “We share the same dedication to excellence,
and are constantly seeking ways to improve and deliver our
best performance. Motorsport is the ideal arena in which to
test and prove high performance products, and needless to
say, both our Mustang race car and International racing
transporter are equipped only with Goodyear RAM belts and
hoses.”
